Trans* are doing activism wrong. Srsly, they are.

A legitimate class-based discrimination analysis is 3-pronged, like this

They must’ve never been copied on the memo, wherein all the civil rights movements that have come before them demonstrate how this is done. When and if you first do the work, and show that your conclusions and reasoning are sound by presenting your position for serious scrutiny and defending it with actual proof, THEN you get to use shortcuts, like “refusing to educate” and demanding your “rights.”

To date, trans* activists have not done the work, but they appropriate the language of social justice movements — and their shortcuts — anyway. FAIL, FAIL, FAIL, FAIL.
